By default, new messages in RoundCube are composed in plain text. However, there is a feature which allows you to compose your mail in rich text / HTML
The following steps will assist you to enable HTML in your messages:
1. Log in to RoundCube.
2. Click on Settings at the top right-hand side of the page.
3. On the left-hand side of the page, click on Preferences and then select Composing Messages from the Section column.
4. Locate the Compose HTML messages drop-down field and select always.
5. Click Save.
