The following steps will assist you in adding an e-mail account to your LG G6 handset:
1. From the Home screen, swipe left and select the Essentials icon (located at the top).
2. Select E-mail.
3. Select Other.
4. You will be prompted for the following information:
- Email address: Enter your e-mail address (e.g.: mail@example.com).
- Password: Enter the password for your account.
5. Select MANUAL SETUP.
6. On the MANUAL SETUP page, select POP3.
Tap Next.
7. Enter the following information for your Incoming server settings:
- POP3 server: mail.yourdomain (e.g.: mail.example.com)
- Security type: Off
- Port number: 110
- Username: Enter your full e-mail address (e.g.: mail@example.com).
- Password: Enter the password for your e-mail address.
8. Enter the following information for your Outgoing server settings:
- SMTP server: mail.yourdomain (e.g.: mail.example.com)
- Security type: Off
- Port number: 587
- Sign-in required: this must be enabled.
- Username: Enter your full e-mail address (e.g.: mail@example.com).
- Password: Enter the password for this e-mail account.
9. On the Account settings page, configure the following as needed:
- Sync schedule: this determines how often your phone should check for new e-mail.
- Number of e-mails to show: this is the number of messages displayed in your Inbox.
- Default e-mail size: Allows you to set the size limit for message.
10. On the Set up completed page, you will be asked for the following:
- Account name: this is an on-screen description of the account.
- Your name: this is the name that will appear next to your e-mail address when you send mail.
11. Tap DONE.
